This Thursday….
I am thankful we got a paycheck. Actually three. One from the old bank. One from the new. And one for the nearly 30 hours of overtime he worked from Friday night to Monday night. Silver lining.
I am thankful for co-workers who understand that it was in the best interest of my students that I take Wednesday off to hold Amelia while she got four shots. Really, it was. Because no one needs a teacher having a mental breakdown in the middle of a classroom of teenagers.
I am thankful for Joshua’s coworker who sends a big box home with him at the change of the seasons. Inside is a plethera of clothes for me to sort through. I keep what I want and return the rest. The girls aren’t naked and Kim has less to tag for the consignment sale. It’s definitely win-win.

i'm obviously waaaay behind on reading up on the Bracketts. i don't really feel like i have an excuse, but i've sort of been in my own little world for a couple of weeks. josh has worked the last couple of weekends and maybe i've been caught up making the most of the family time we do have, which of course isn't a bad thing…except for my blog and blog reading is falling behind!! anyway, this is probably jus the first of many catch-up comments!
